CVS Caremark cares about the safety of your plan participants and the delivery of their medications.

Wildfires in Southern California continue to threaten residents, homes and businesses.  As a result, the Governor of California has declared a state of emergency in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego & Ventura counties.

In response, CVS Caremark has activated a process that allows Customer Care to approve one-time emergency refills of up to a 30-day supply of prescribed medications for plan participants in affected areas to pick up at local pharmacies. Customer Care Representatives may approve a one-time, 10-day supply. We also have procedures in place to approve a one-time emergency refill of up to a 30-day supply, based on specific plan participant need. This process follows the intent of  California’s Board of Pharmacy emergency guidelines.

Plan participants who have questions about their medication delivery should call Customer Care at the toll-free number on their benefit ID card.
