A.A.R.P.:  AARP is the nation’s leading organization for people age 50 and older. It serves their needs and interests through information and education, advocacy, and community services which are provided by a network of local chapters and experienced volunteers throughout the country. The organization also offers members a wide range of special benefits and services.

ALLIANCE FOR RETIRED AMERICANS: If you have an interest in getting involved with influencing the policies of government that affect all older Americans, check out the Alliance for Retired Americans. This 3-million member nationwide organization aims to influence government through action on retiree legislative and political issues at the federal, state and local levels.

CARE GUIDE:  CareGuide.com is an online resource for people who need assistance and support in the daily process of caring for their children or elders. They offer nationwide listings of child care facilities and elder care facilities and provide tools, directories, products, services and support networks to help guide caregivers through every step of the care giving process. 

CRASH COURSE IN WILLS & TRUSTS:  This site provides a crash course in estate planning, wills and trusts, including the legal and practical consideration of income tax and the Federal Gift and Estate Tax, the disposition of property outside the probate system, life insurance, powers of attorney, “living wills”, and long term care insurance.

ELDER LAW ANSWERS: A site with thorough and up-to-date legal information about crucial legal issues facing seniors. There are lots of resources and links to Elder Law Radio and Aging Smart Radio programs.
 HEALTHFINDER.GOV:  The U.S. Department of Health and Human
 Services is a comprehensive source of  reliable health information
 resources that have been carefully selected from over 1,700
 government agencies and nonprofit organizations.  Every resource
 listed includes a brief description and contact information for the
 organization that produces it.

LIFELONG FITNESS ALLIANCE:  Formerly known as Fifty-Plus Lifelong Fitness, this site was developed by a group of Stanford researchers and is devoted to information about, motivation toward, and participation in exercise and fitness while aging.

SENIORS CORP.:  Through the National Senior Service Corps, nearly half a million Americans age 55 and older share their time and talents to help their communities.

SENIORS.GOV:  This site helps users access all government sites that provide services for senior citizens, such as SSA, Health Care Financing Administration, the Administration on Aging, the Department of Veterans Affairs, etc.  There are also links to all federal agencies and all 50 States.

SENIOR HEALTH FROM ABOUT.COM:  This site offers extensive articles, resources and links on topics of interest to seniors such as health, fitness, travel, entertainment and more.

SENIOR NET:  This nonprofit website provides adults 50+ with access to and education about computer technology and the Internet to enhance their lives and enable them to share their knowledge and wisdom.

SENIOR WORLD ONLINE:  This "blog" site features articles of interest to seniors in many categories - health, home & garden, finances, life, leisure and sports.

 THIRD AGE: Exclusively focused on serving baby boomers,
 ThirdAge provides informative content on topics that matter most:
 Health & Wellness, Family & Friends, Relationships & Sex, Money &
 Work, Beauty & Style and Travel & Pastimes. They also offer
 community forums and newsletters.
 WHO GETS GRANDMA'S YELLOW PIE PLATE?: Everyone has
